The Bermuda Rugby Football Union (the “BRFU”) is the overall governing body for Rugby Union in Bermuda and is responsible for organizing all aspects of Rugby in Bermuda, from youth rugby to senior rugby, men’s, women’s, passionate patrons or the casual fan, we have you covered.

The BRFU is a full member of Rugby America North (“RAN”). RAN is one of the six World Rugby regional associations and is the governing body of the sixteen Unions in Rugby Americas North.

We aim to promote the defining character-building traits of rugby; Integrity, Passion, Solidarity, Discipline and Respect. These characteristics are collectively known as the World Rugby values and are incorporated within the World Rugby Playing Charter, a guiding document aimed at preserving rugby’s unique character and ethos both on and off the field of play.

Youth rugby is run, in collaboration with Beyond Rugby, through kids Sunday morning rugby, middle school and high school competition for girls and boys. In addition, the BRFU sends youth national squads to overseas competition from U12 to U19 age groups. Youth teams have also gone on tours to the UK, US and Caribbean in recent years
