The Elite Athlete Sponsorship (EAS) Program, funded by the Department of Sport and Recreation, provides direct financial support to Bermudian athletes excelling at the regional and world level. This initiative helps athletes access elite training, coaching, equipment, and competition opportunities, ensuring they meet international performance standards.
By investing in top talent, the program enables Bermudians to compete at premier events like the Olympics, World Championships, and Commonwealth Games. Aligned with the National Sports Policy (2022-2027), EAS strengthens Bermuda’s global sporting presence, fosters national pride, and inspires future generations of athletes.
Who Can Apply?
Bermudian athletes who:
✅ Hold a Bermudian passport.
✅ Have 3 years of proven commitment, consistency, and performance in their sport.
✅ Compete at regional or world levels.
✅ Are 19 years or older (exception for 16-19-year-olds excelling internationally).
✅Have NSGB endorsement confirming their elite status.
